One of my favorite restaurants is Aristo's by the U. I especially love it in the summer when you can enjoy the patio. These days we usually take a trip to the park after. Lucy is finally taking a liking to the grass.

Rhett's Birthday

For Rhett's birthday we headed up to Park City. We at at Good Thymes, it was delicious. Then we hit the outlets. Good times! Then we came home and had a watermelon birthday cake! This is the cake my Grandma always had for her birthday on June 17. I thought it was fitting because Rhett likes watermelon ALMOST as much as she did! I hope you had a great birthday. Love you to the moon.

On the way up I gave Lucy a Fig Newton (one of her favorite treats). Apparently they were more fun to play with than eat. It was EVERYWHERE. And they are sticky.

Getting ready

...is a chore!! Luckily on Sunday Lucy just wanted to watch what all the fuss was about. Rhett said it was pretty cute.

The Zoo

Lucy loved going to the zoo this year. Lucky for me we only had time to stay for an hour. We pretty much ran through the place. Thanks Dani for being so fast! I will go with you anytime. The giraffes were Lucy's favorite.

BBQ in June!

How is your morning so far?

Our morning looks a little like this. Furniture falling on top of the little stink. She saved herself by curling in a ball, covering her head, and hiding under the drawer that did not open because she was there. She is a survivor that only shed a few tears because of her pride (I really just pulled furniture over, wahoo!). I wish I knew this was the last time this was going to happen. I guess I need to figure out how to bolt the furniture to the wall. Yikes.

All Smiles!!

Most days Lucy is all smiles which is pretty amazing considering her smile grew 4 new teeth this yesterday!

the big one year old

Lucy goes into a room and shuts all the doors behind her. When you try to open it she thinks it is a game and keeps closing it on you making it impossible to get her.

Lucy says and does the ‘0’ face all day long.

Lucy says ‘hi’ all day long. Her first word.

Lucy is taking a liking to Soy Milk.

No dairy for this girl. After a 3 week battle with diahrea we came to the conclusion that she can’t have any dairy - still. You would think we would be able to figure this whole allergy thing out seeing how we have been dealing with it for a year now. I just keep hoping she has grown out of it.

Lucy loves walking with her walker. She smiles and laughs the whole time.

Lucy loves to play chase. She crawls like a maniac.

Lucy has begun to hit me and laugh.

Lucy is dangerous on the stairs, she thinks they are the best invention ever!

Lucy loves to swing.

Lucy loves fig newtons and smoothies.

Lucy ALWAYS has her toes curled. It is too cute, but it does make walking difficult.

Lucy is constantly climbing in and out of everything.

Lucy laughs at everything I laugh at.

Lucy loves to go to church and laugh with all the kids. She is quite entertaining.

Lucy is growing up so fast. I love this girl so much and am so lucky to be her mom.

Oops!

It was harder than I thought it would be. Knowing me it may be shocking to know this is the FIRST time I have EVER painted Lucy's nails. I honestly am shocked with myself. WEll, you had better believe it is not the last time I will be painting these squrimy toes. They are adorable...especially after all the extra polish came off!
