Surprise!

On September 1st, Rhett came home to balloons and a decorated table. Lucy and I were so excited to share the news with him. I wrote up a little poem telling him to gear up for the next 9 months....here we go again! Lucky me was already ill by the time I found out I was pregnant. I am due the same day I was with Lucy, May 10. Apparently we really like to celebrate our anniversary in August!!

Princess Dorothy

Lucy was Dorothy this year. She thought she was a princess so we rolled with 'Princess Dorothy.' Cutest blonde Dorothy I have ever seen.

Halloween Party

I was feeling a bit guilty about not doing more fun Halloween things with Lucy. I didn't even get out my decorations this year. October was just a bad bad sick month. So we threw a family Halloween party. She loved it all, except the pumpkin carving. She was gagging, and crying, and screaming, and wouldn't look at it. It was hilarious.

Line 'em up

This is how Lucy plays with all of her toys. They are always in a line up. She loves to sort things by color or size and line them up. Too cute.

So Tired

This is what happens when you don't take a nap all week. You fall asleep at 6:00 pm eating wheat thins with your legs crossed.

Red hair

Where did all that red hair come from? Uncle Rhett of course. I think we are still in shock my sister's baby came out with bright red hair. I guess it gives us hope that maybe we will have one as well. Lucy has 17 cousins from Rhett's side of the family and not one has red hair. Pretty clever Sophia!

Canned

I did a whole bunch of pears, pear jam, and salsa this year. Too bad it was just bad timing with the pregnancy. I Don't think I will eat salsa ever again!

Joy School

Lucy is in a little Joy School in the neighborhood. She loves it, and I love a little break once a week. We lucked out with such a cute group of kids...Lucy is the biggest trouble maker of all.

The Sentra

We sold my very first car in August. I had this car 10 years! I was sad to see it go, but it was time to move on. We thought we would find what we wanted rather quickly, but it turned out to be quite the chore. After searching for four months, I finally found that perfect car! Pictures to come!

Sleepover!

Lucy had her cousin Karli over for a slumber party. It was a blast. They took a bath together, read books to each other, and watched a movie. Come over again soon Karlie!

The boys finally got their backpacking fix this summer. Rhett has been waiting a long time for this. They came back with more mesquito bites than you can imagine.

The zoo

24th of July

We ventured to the parade and the carnival. The girls LOVED it. I can't beleive I went on a ferris wheel twice this summer.

Real!!

Rhett and I went to a couple of Real games this summer, always a good time! We went on the 24th of July and enjoyed some fireworks from the parking lot!
