Monarch Butterflies

As I would say when I was a kid 'I have Butterflies, huge Monarch Butterflies!' Well, I felt my first set of real Monarch Butterflies on Wednesday, and I think they were the biggest Monarchs I have ever felt. It was so great to feel the little baby. At first I thought that is new, do I need to go to the bathroom? Do I need to eat? Am I full? Am I on a roller coaster? And then I realized, it was her (we are calling a her these days for the sake of not calling her an it). I was in the car with my family taking my little brother to the MTC. I felt 4 little flutters and then realized what was going on. Later that night I turned to lay on my side - apparently I am not supposed to lay on my back anymore, there are so many rules during pregnancy - And I felt many little movements once again. It was a neat step in the pregnancy, but I also need to admit, it was a little freaky. It always grossed me out when other people would say they can feel their baby all the time, but I thought it would maybe change when It was me. I guess I will just be a little grossed out for the next few months!

how fun Holly! I always like reaching that milestone. I also agree that is a bit unreal. Really weird if you stop to think about it. But great!

p.s. How was the MTC? Dan is so great, I can't believe he is old enough for a mission. I swear he was just learning to drive. (I sound like an old and out of touch cousin don't I?!)

Yay! That was one of my favorite parts of pregnancy! It made the baby suddenly seem so real. I thought Cooper was going to kill me sometimes, though. He loved to stretch!

That is awesome! You will come to love it! I always thought people were weird that would say after the baby was born that they missed feeling the baby...........to be honest, there are times I miss it! It's a neat time to bond with that baby!
